How we work
A structured, transparent working model that moves from the decision at hand to calibrated, decision-useful intelligence — with uncertainty made explicit at every step.
Frame the question and decision context
We start from the decision you actually face. Clarifying the question, the stakes and the constraints keeps the analysis proportionate and useful rather than open-ended.
Gather and assess relevant observable material
We work from documented behaviour, communications and context. Each source is assessed for relevance, reliability and gaps before it informs any judgement.
Develop competing hypotheses
We hold several plausible explanations in view at once, testing each against the evidence rather than committing early to a single, comfortable narrative.
Map behaviour, relationships, networks and narratives
We map how behaviour, influence and narrative connect — the patterns, relationships and pathways that make a situation behave the way it does.
Calibrate findings
We attach explicit confidence to each finding, set out the strongest alternative explanations, and state clearly what the material does not allow us to conclude.
Deliver decision-useful intelligence
We deliver a clear reading tied to your decision: what we assess, how confident we are, what would change our view, and where the limits lie.
A note on limitations
Behavioural analysis is an aid to judgement — not a diagnosis, a deception test, or an engine that predicts what people will do. We describe observable behaviour and plausible interpretations, attach calibrated confidence, and are explicit about uncertainty. We do not claim to read minds, detect lies, or establish intent with certainty, and our work does not replace legal, clinical or professional advice.
Bring us a decision, not just a question
The method is most valuable when it is anchored to a real choice you need to make. Tell us the situation in confidence and we will set out how we would approach it.
